I approached the Giant’s Steps with high-winds, high waves and a deep grey sky. The weather certainly set the mood for a photography challenge but, I was prepared and there was no time to waste. I would be here only one night. I scrambled across the octagon rocks and every few minutes I inched closer to the edge, holding my tripod and feet to the ground, refining my shot, calculating the Giant’s watery reach. And hoping, I would be successful in capturing a picture to remember this moment with.
