Lesley Ames is a photographer, intuitive, and explorer with a soulful way of seeing. Photography has been a lifelong thread in her story, beginning in her grandfather’s darkroom and unfolding across nearly 40 countries, 29 U.S. states, and countless remote landscapes. Her images serve as a meditation on connection and the deep presence that the natural world brings into our lives.

Her journey into fine art pet portraiture was deeply influenced by her dog, Stanley, whose wise and joyful spirit reshaped how she sees and photographs animals.
