They weren’t just sitting for a portrait. They were communicating.

Where Photography Became Listening

Over the years, animal after animal came through my door. And what I witnessed wasn't just a pet sitting for a portrait — it was a being with a personality, emotion and spirit. And with it, a bond. The way an owner looked at their dog. The way a dog settled into the presence of someone who truly knew them — and looked to them for reassurance. The quiet, unmistakable language between a person and their animal companion.

The more I witnessed it through the lens, the more I wanted to go deeper — beyond the image, into direct communication with the animal itself. That curiosity, along with my own relationship with my dog Stanley, led me to become an animal communicator, and the desire to support that bond — in life, through transitions, and beyond — is what drives the work I do today.

If you'd like to connect with your pet — or with one who has passed — I'd love to hear from you.
