Celebrating the Dogs of Andersonville

Andersonville in Chicago has a great story. It began as a Swedish neighborhood and became one that values its small local businesses and quirky charm—so much so that it is considered one of the friendliest neighborhoods in the world. Now, it is time to add another story. The story of the social beings that connect us as humans and neighbors and make this neighborhood so special.

100 Dogs of Andersonville

Dogs of Andersonville is a local photography project inspired by what I know and love — Andersonville, dogs, photography, and storytelling. The aim is to photograph 100 Andersonville area dogs and share them in a high-quality format for everyone to enjoy. Each dog’s portrait celebrates the unique personality and spirit that makes this neighborhood so vibrant.

A Note on Availability: I am currently on sabbatical and not accepting new portrait sessions. While I’m pausing this photography project for now, the spirit of Dogs of Andersonville remains — celebrating the dogs that make this neighborhood special.
