Join the Chicago neighborhood dog photography project.

Andersonville in Chicago has a great story. It began as a Swedish neighborhood and became one that values its small local businesses and quirky charm so much that it is considered the 2nd coolest neighborhood in the world. Now, it is time to add another story:

100 Dogs of Andersonville: The story of the social beings that connect us as humans and neighbors and make us one of the friendliest in the world.

I am excited to invite Andersonville residents – and all those that visit with their dogs – to be part of an effort to celebrate yet another reason that makes this neighborhood so special. Dogs of Andersonville is a local photography project inspired by what I know and love – Andersonville, dogs, photography, and storytelling. I aim to photograph 100 Andersonville area dogs and publish them in a quality format for the world to view and see. With your participation in this first stage of taking high-quality portraits, you will receive a professional archival print of your dog to frame. You will also become part of this wonderful venture to record and photograph the Dogs of Andersonville.

Don’t have a dog but want to sponsor one? Purchase a Dogs of Andersonville gift card and we will set up a raffle to give it away.
